Re porcelian

Since we can't get red porcelian and probably other colors anymore has any research been done on getting reporcelian done in another country?

I did a google search this afternoon and there is a lot of porcelian products available from China.

Really interesting thought...did you investigate Canadian facilities ? Since we live on the Canadian border, we use Canada as a regular and frequent source for many products not available in this country.

Did you try Hugh's place in Loiusiana? They had lots of colors, although I didn't ask about red. Or try John at Custom Ceramics in Illinois. I realize that there are a lot of restrictions, but it seems to vary by state. In California, Gigi thinks she won't even be able to do yellow anymore.

There are still red stoves being turned out by Steven Thomas at Vintage Stoves, so he's getting it done somewhere. (one just recently sold)
